Relational Leadership

Our leadership development efforts always hinge on our relationship development. Brad Hager offers 3 relational elements to insure that your mentorship efforts will be handsomely rewarded.

1. Know your people intimately by spending lots of time with them. Seek opportunities often to engage your team members in face-to-face or on the phone conversations.

2. Exhibit integrity in every situation so your team members will learn to place their trust in you.

3. Model the behavior you desire. Lead by example.

Zig Ziglar is quoted as saying, "Help enough other people get what they want and you will get what you want." Develop strong relationships with the team members you have chosen to mentor and they will become the LEADERS that will help you build your business to the stars.

The MAGIC of Geometric Growth

One of the primary means in which you can insure your financial success will be your ability to mentor a dedicated team of LEADERS. When you mentor your leaders properly, they will be able to mentor a dedicated team of LEADERS that will insure their financial success. To help you grasp this point take a look at the Geometric Growth examples listed below.

When you have developed 2 dedicated leaders and mentor them to follow your example, in 6 generations of leaders you will have developed a TEAM of 126 dedicated leaders! But notice what happens if you develop just 3 additional leaders who follow your example. Now your TEAM of dedicated leaders has skyrocketed to 19,530 dedicated leaders!

It doesn't matter whether you are the CEO of Wal-Mart or the CEO of your own home-based business, leveraging your efforts with the efforts of a large TEAM of dedicated leaders is the surest way to insure your financial future.

Developing Long-Term Quality Relationships

Mentoring a team of leaders is critical to achieving your financial objectives in life. Brad Hager offers 3 strategies for developing long-term relationships with the people you have chosen to mentor.

1. Get to know the people you want to build long-term relationships. Regular contact (face-t0-face, or on the phone) is critical!

2. Mature these relationships by committing to grow yourself and your leaders.

3. Be a role model in the relationship. Take the lead!

If real estate value is driven by location, the value and long-term success of your business will depend on the strength of the long-term relationships you develop.

10 Commandments for Conflict Resolution

No matter how hard we try to get along with people, conflict is inevitable. Conflict resolution between you and your team members is critical to your relationships with them and the long-term success of the team. Here are 10 ways to insure that your relationships flourish and your objectives are realized.

1. Follow the 1% Rule. Look for at least 1% of common ground with your adversary.
2. Love people more than your opinions.
3. Give people the benefit of the doubt.
4. Learn to be flexible.
5. Always leave an out for your adversary.
6. Check your own attitude.
7. Don't overreact.
8. Don't become defensive.
9. Welcome conflict. Iron sharpens iron!
10. Take a risk! Take the first step. Reach out to your adversary.

Our relationships are critical to achieving our dreams. Since we can't achieve our objectives alone, being well versed in conflict resolution will pay tremendous dividends.
